How to Win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie is one of the great books I discovered while working to make myself a better Life Insurance salesman. Basically, the message of Carnegie’s book is be nice to people, work to understand where they’re coming from, and they just might reward you and help you succeed.

Most interestingly for me personally, Carnegie and I both had experience as salesmen going through rough patches in Alliance, Nebraska.
