Below is one of the books I’ve read over the years which I’d like to share with my website’s visitors.

Whether you’re an aspiring or experienced author, the book On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft by Stephen King is a must-read. I read this book when it first came out in the late 90’s, and it confirmed much of what I already intuitively knew (it’s not a bad idea to write the first draft in longhand, kill your television, take breaks between drafts of novels to write short stories, etc.).

King’s details about the heartbreaking poverty of his early years are also an inspiration to any artist experiencing the same. One detail I remember missing in a glaring way is exactly how he connected with his first agent.
