Zoetrope: All-Story is a quarterly magazine co-founded by Adrienne Brodeur and Francis Ford Coppola (director of The Godfather). As of November 2019, the magazine is closed to new submissions, but they will “reopen with new guidelines in the coming months.”

Also, Zoetrope: All-Story has a Short Fiction Competition which welcomes stories and one-act plays of up to 5,000 words, with submissions accepted early July to early October. Also as of 2019, in addition to being awarded prizes of $1,000, $500 and $250, the top three winners (along with the seven honorable mentions) are forwarded to the following top twelve literary agencies for representation consideration:
